The new development is a 200-room, 4-story Residence Inn by Marriott at the northwest corner of Wailea Ike Drive and Wailea Ekolu Place in Wailea.  The hotel is located on a 6.37-acre land parcel and will be among the first new build Residence Inn Generation 9 properties in existence.

Location: The hotel is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Wailea Ike Drive and Wailea Ekolu Place. The site is one quarter mile from the Shops of Wailea, a high end retail and restaurant development, and approximately one half mile from oceanfront. The site is elevated from the beach areas, which will provide the opportunity for spectacular views from nearly all guestrooms of the Maui coastline looking north and south, the ocean and neighboring islands looking west, and Maui’s rugged volcanic formations looking inland to the east.
